马戏团和大萧条的背景为老掉牙的婚外恋爱情故事增色不少，但是。。。也仍然就是个畅销书而已。倒是很想看看电影中的Rosie。

读之前以为是儿童小说；读第一章节以为是惊悚小说；读到中间以为是流浪小说；读到最后才知道，马戏团是缩影，每个人背后都有自己的影子，看似残暴的August，在感情上，无能为力；Jacob似乎不可思议的流浪，绝望的感情，都在那匆匆一跳中，当初只为逃离狼的嚎叫。
