整体上看，较同系列的另一本政治色彩更加淡一些，当然可读性也就差一点。但是因为主要是中国的年画，所以中国传统画风格十分鲜明，50年代常见的苏式风格宣传画在这本书里比较少见。还是老问题，选的图但不很具有代表性。
