It talks to me, moves me, shatters me, paralyzes me. How words can be so powerful I should know now. To say it's just a love story would diminish it. The author has constructed the fictional world with such acute and abundant description that the nuance, to some people seems verbose, while to others make all the difference. Personal, yet universal.

可以说是每个暗恋过，且渴望得到理解的人所能获得的最细腻且客观的注解。没有顾影自怜的自我标榜，没有陈词滥调尽头不明的肉欲，连性别和爱情都不是最显要的成分，只是人和人天然的吸引，靠近，燃烧而后在时间里伤怀的故事，确实很普鲁斯特。

作者驾驭文字的能力令人叹为观止，情感、阳光、气温、湿度甚至被风鼓起的衣衫都表述得极其轻盈而准确，极富美感。看了下最后一页，归类是青少年同性文学，但书的最后其实也扩展到了Elio四十岁的生活。一部好的同性文学，总是能让我有所共鸣，但是一直感叹它的稀少。异性恋的感情，有大量的文学、影视、人们无所顾忌的态度进行讨论，而同性感情往往是孤独的，少数的，没有丰富的文学、影视甚至自由的讨论，只能依靠当事人孤独的探索，甚至可能在一生的错误和犹豫中失去最好的时光和机遇······某种程度上说，这种孤独和stigma,也是这本小说的一个主题。希望有更多优秀的同性文学，更加开放的环境，让爱少一些错过和遗憾。

看到最后一章简直是一把鼻涕一把眼泪，哭得稀里哗啦的。本以为电影就够虐了，没想到原著比电影还要虐。作者对少年心事的描述太细腻了，非常让我有共鸣。书中的这种爱情，太纯洁也太珍贵，大多数人也许终生都得不到也无法体验这样的爱。所以Elio和Oliver是幸运的。

和《情人》太像了快速燃尽以后我老了在我长大那一刻已经进入了nostalgia 我从来一无所有未来也将一事无成但生命中所有重要的事情都在这几天电光火石般地掠过脑海欲望和狂喜和悲愁和时间如果没遇到你我还会一样吗？会不一样吗？我幸运吗？每个人都一样幸运吗？
