批評的就是這種自以為“唯纔是舉”其實根本無視背後更深層不公平因素的評價體係。

[有聲書] 好像評價有點低呢。囉嗦確實是個弊病，但作者真的指齣瞭一些meritocracy所帶來的問題，非常詳實的數據支持，總的來說是在看super rich和middle class以及middle class和poor之間的區彆之比較，從收入、教育、醫療、健康等等方麵分析。或許牽強的是是否meritocracy是這一切的根源，這也是causality和association難以區分的好例子。比較警醒的是我們逐漸習以為常的一些理念：“懶惰不行”“靠自己努力過上好日子並要將這些優勢傳遞給下一代”“work life balance隻是美好幻象”。不得不說對這類問題的探討，教育資源不均真是風口浪尖。

讀書筆記讀書。精英和中産都各自存在於自己的死循環中，精英已是他們的靈魂，他們不會意識到自己哪裏可能有問題；中産已是他們終其一生都難擺脫的階級。這個的區彆往小瞭說就很像十年前去美國留學和現在去美國留學同樣的水平不同的學校的問題。誰錯瞭呢，貧富差距越來越大是誰錯瞭呢，其實書裏麵說這是一個問題，但是卻無法說服我，世界本就是如此循環的罷瞭，世界需要他們這樣為瞭金錢地位奮鬥的人，就像我覺得我們專業的同學天天拼命學習一樣，世界需要他們這樣的人去當科學傢，貧富差距並不是一個big question，so認清自己的優劣勢，少做讓自己後悔的事，不會被冷死餓死that‘s all for me，所以我也不會産生歧視或是怎麼樣。所以解決這個事件的方法最好方式是直麵自我？不過這本書闡述這個事件還是值得看的。
