很精彩的一本文学批评史，平易近人，非常适合作为课堂上课的大纲进行精读。此书比较注重文学批评同哲学、历史、社会思想间的关联，大半篇幅都在讲述文学批评的古典源流，其中许多古典及中世纪文学批评对中国人来说还很陌生。

将文学批评史寓于哲学史框架中的写作真是可心，对关于文论价值的结语也心有戚戚。是我对不起作者，花了半年才囫囵吞枣地读完。
