本书和《贡多林的陷落》同属《未完成的故事》系列，可视作《魔戒》系列的前传和番外，对于中土世界的设定和中土神话体系也算是部分的补完。 《胡林的儿女》基本上可归类为英雄史诗，风格类似于《尼伯龙根的指环》、《贝奥武夫》等，因此在行文上，本书沿袭了《魔戒》系列的优美...  

不知道为什么，描述和故事总有点不流畅感，可能是我对这个系列的书不熟的缘故。但是故事本身很不错，很震撼，刚看了个开头，惨烈的战争，复杂的“人”性，托尔金显然不是浪得虚名。  

一夜看完，越看越入戏。虽然很多人觉得后来的情节发展太快，文字多流水账的叙述性。不过最后的场面和语言描写都充满了古典气息，好在托老爷爷本来就要用史诗的笔调来描写中土这个幻想大陆，因此颇有古风的史家记录手笔很能符合全书风格。全书翻译质量很高，托尔金的中土世界参...  

呵呵~~恭喜恭喜！能看到自己努力的成果变成整齐的铅字展现在万千读者面前，闻到崭新的雪白书页上散发的淡淡墨香，好幸福！ 不过，是台湾版的，在大陆不好找到啊……俺们只能忍受X出版社的辣手摧书了……还好有原版书看，汗|||
