It was Winston Churchill who popularized the phrase Black Dog to describe the bouts of depression he experienced for much of his life. This work presents an insight into what it is like to have a Black Dog as a companion and how he learned to tame it and bring it to heel.

This is a wonderfully illustrated and well-written book about the experience of being depressed. The author builds on Churchill's metaphor of the "Black Dog of Depression" in a way that is both humerous and insightful. Anyone who had ever been depressed could benefit greatly from reading this book and following the author's suggestions about how to manage and recover from depression.
评分Millions of people around the world live with depression. Sometimes I experience such pain too whilst I stay alone. Or maybe my mental statement is not so serious, just a kinda pressure, cuz at least I am interested to soth but not the situation that can't enjoy anything.
