構思奇特。雖然主題無非是抗議德雷斯頓轟炸的非人道，但是作為一部科幻小說，大大降低瞭話題的沉重。Vonnegut小說有個共性，就是都有個視角獨特的假設。這點從他的畫裏也能看齣。
