約翰•R•安德森，美國著名的認知心理學傢，約翰•R•安德森(John R. Anderson)是美國卡內基－梅隆大學(Carnegie Mellon University)心理學係和計算機科學係梅隆教授，美國科學院院士，曾任美國科學院心理學部(Psychology Section) 2001-2004屆主席，認知科學學會1988屆主席，曾獲美國心理學會傑齣科學職業奬(American Psychological Association’s Distinguished Scientific Career Award，1994)、魯姆哈特奬(2004)、實驗心理學傑齣成就奬(2005)、荷蘭皇傢科學院首屆海涅肯(Heineken)認知科學奬(2006)、和富蘭剋林計算機與認知科學奬(2011)等重大奬項。2004年，著名心理學史傢Noel Sheehy將約翰•安德森與馮特、弗洛伊德、巴普洛夫以及赫伯特•西濛並列，評定他為人類曆史上“50位最偉大的心理學思想傢”之一，而且是其中最年輕的一位。

秦裕林，Yulin Qin，男，1947年生。美國卡內基梅隆大學(Carnegie Mellon University, CMU)認知心理學博士(1992)。導師赫伯特•西濛(1916-2001，Herbert A. Simon,中文名司馬賀)生前為美國科學院院士、中國科學院外籍院士；曾榮獲諾貝爾經濟學奬(1978)、計算機科學圖靈奬(1975)和美國心理學會傑齣科學貢獻奬(1969)、美國心理學會終身貢獻奬(1993)等奬，係當代認知心理學和人工智能奠基者之一。

2000年以來，秦裕林工作在CMU的安德森實驗室，研究方嚮為認知體係結構(Cognitive architecture)與計算模型ACT-R及其神經基礎。曾作為第一作者與導師西濛共同著名在《認知科學》和認知科學年會等發錶論文6篇，與安德森共同著名在《美國科學院院刊》(第一作者)、《認知心理學》、《認知神經科學雜誌》等國際重要專業刊物上發錶論文13篇。

曾與清華大學人文學院教授曹南燕共同翻譯赫伯特•西濛自傳《我生活的種種模式》(東方齣版中心，1997)。在CMU學習期間及在安德森實驗室工作期間，曾經聽安德森本人講過本書的不同版本。
