来奥克兰借阅完成的第一本书，今年看完的第一本是18年哈佛买的发条橙。这个诗集很薄，装潢不起眼，书页微微泛黄，但也许因为呼啸山庄，所以在茫茫书海中看到她的名字就取了下来。公交上、房间地板上、床的一角，用两天的闲暇翻完。一些主题比较重复，读完最大的感受——她也太爱用dreary和gloomy之类的词了，导致有点审美疲劳。但是还是有一些很惊艳的，明天或者过几天抄下来，日后有心情上网看看别人的分析。Jan 23 '21

找荒原无果, 却巧遇了Emily Brontë--是一本附着她的诗选的呼啸山庄. 静坐于一隅, 边看边抄边慨叹. 叹的是果然黑暗, 黑暗而又有力. 读罢掩卷, 我疑心她还是向往光明的, 没有原因. 再找找, 有几首是几首.
