因為在midterm paper裏麵探討瞭下Kano中的colonial intimacy，被老師推薦去看Ann Stoler的作品；結果我發現她討論的殖民地的intimate跟我說的那玩意兒不太一樣，她討論的是對於sexuality的殖民治理問題，很敏銳地注意到瞭殖民地“歐洲人”社群內部的heterogeneity和相對應的governmentality。她提醒道，歐洲人和殖民者並不是重閤的概念，且殖民者／被殖民者並不是固定的區分，在她的研究中，對白人女人、兒童、混血兒這些主體的（被）殖民經驗考察大大豐富瞭我們對於殖民主義的認識。因為跟論文不直接有關，所以翻得很快，有個章節叫A colonial reading of Foucault，引入瞭race來讀Foucault的性史，有空細看
