聽的audio book 原著更好看呢。

醉酒之後的大逆轉仿佛是對前2/3本頹廢的救贖。然而就算是談起人生口若懸河的英文老師不過也可能隻是暗懷鬼胎。男主扣題的時候甚至有些感動。非常慶幸讀瞭原版，倒數第二章之前齣現的髒話大都是G-word，和最後的F-words形成鮮明對比，應該也是有意為之。

並不能說喜歡，卻能讀下去的第一人稱的敘述。鄙夷，憤怒，軟弱。為什麼不乾脆遠離那些他認為phony的人呢?青少年時期的掙紮啊。幾乎要忘瞭。

塞林格的語言太有意思瞭，人物塑造很有個性，叛逆不失幽默感。相比十幾年前讀的譯本，原著可讀性高多瞭。能讀原著就不要讀譯本，體會不到真髓。

不僅看到頹廢的錶象，也可以看到頹廢的根源，垮掉的一代是源於戰爭及動蕩，更現實的原因就是理想和現實的脫節。所以很多人渴望著平靜和超脫，如果說霍爾頓渴望成為麥田裏的守望者，我也不過是希望能夠做一個書店裏的小老闆罷瞭。

The story is told by Holden Caulfield, a seventeen- year-old dropout who has just been kicked out of his fourth school. Throughout, Holden dissects the 'phony' aspects of society, and the 'phonies' themselves: the headmaster whose affability depends on the wealth of the parents, his roommate who scores with girls using sickly-sweet affection. Lazy in style, full of slang and swear words, it's a novel whose interest and appeal comes from its observations rather than its plot intrigues (in conventional terms, there is hardly any plot at all). Salinger's style creates an effect of conversation, it is as though Holden is speaking to you personally, as though you too have seen through the pretences of the American Dream and are growing up unable to see the point of living in, or contributing to, the society around you. Written with the clarity of a boy leaving childhood, it deals with society, love, loss, and expectations without ever falling into the clutch of a cliche.
