On a May afternoon in 1943, an Army Air Forces bomber crashed into the Pacific Ocean and disappeared, leaving only a spray of debris and a slick of oil, gasoline, and blood.

评分怎么到现在才发现这么喜欢、这么和我胃口的一本书！以及，读完才发现以及有了中文版。。。

评分宗教意味太浓
评分挺喜欢作者的文笔，简洁得不得了。相比之下，同时在读的walden就是截然相反的风格。不过就是觉得书写得太细致太厚了，还有最后好人宽恕坏人，世界和平还是有点俗套。这本书里提到当时在日本的战俘营的生活，显示在日本的战俘的待遇要比在欧洲的差一万倍，小日本真是不是人，是禽兽啊。
