各种情感铺陈在起起伏伏的生活中。生意、板球、宗教牵扯着三个老友的命运。当命定的一刻到来，但见无尽的唏嘘残留在昨是今非的土地上，然而，前方的道路仍会有淡然的明光。 巴哈特是个好手，向来知道怎样用妙趣横生的笔墨去描绘这些五彩斑斓却又悲喜掺杂的境况。
评分一本普通的通俗小说。

评分总体来说还是不错的，但是没有某位的书评写得那么伟大吧。老实说，只是Chetan Bhagat的正常发挥，在技巧上并没有更上一层楼，不过这次眼界更宽，场面更大，还是算进步吧。
评分中文译本用3 idiots的封面有误导之嫌，虽是同一个作者写的，但完全是两码事，所以果断舍弃，看了原著。不过读此书的心情还是和看3 idiots是一样一样的，有欢笑，有感动，有泪水，读到最后结尾的短信:ish bowls 2 ali. ali moves fwd & urns. straight 6...!，脑海里浮现的全是3 idiots里三个主演如果出演这部电影的场景，宝莱坞快把这部也搬上大荧幕吧。
