评分海明威的情感文字化之後可以說是相當剋製——除瞭十分主觀地being mean還嘴硬說是honest，可見他對幾位好友的贊美和寬容多麼來之不易（白眼）。寫初見菲茨傑拉德的那篇真的不錯，整體來講也非常喜歡這本書勾畫的巴黎，不枉莎士比亞書店宰我12歐瞭。
