兩個自私的女人在裏南這個貧窮而封閉的小村子裏互相撕扯著墜入地獄。麥剋唐納的情節劇"選美皇後"看起來很"蘭閨春怨"，但相比卻高齣幾個層級。作者恰當的遣詞造句讓母女二人的每個野蠻行徑都在情緒和邏輯上十分可信，又通過細節的搭建讓觀眾吸瞭一口又一口的涼氣。一個準確的製作應當讓觀眾觀戲時牢牢抓住椅子把手，並在最後一個包袱後把他們打入黑暗。

看完劇本纔發現Project Rounabout版的舞颱劇除瞭必要的本土化，幾乎跟足劇本沒多少改動的，也終於讓我解開瞭看劇時的疑惑，原來最後並沒有反轉再反轉，隻反轉瞭一次，這樣邏輯就理順瞭。被睏山中的母女控製與反控製，互相摺磨的故事，母親要把女兒睏在身邊照顧自己，女兒則抓住所有機會要逃離。然而離開瞭的鄰居，則感覺自己不屬於任何地方。挺悲哀的兩難睏境。

相互摺磨看著好窒息。潑熱油那段有美版咒怨的味道瞭，憑這段和老太太從搖椅上倒下那段，拍部驚悚片應該是好看的。
