对自由与意志关系的晦暗不明；三种政体形式中民主制实际上的优先地位（人民是allow 主权者的意志作出决断而非利维坦中主权者的绝对代表）；印象深的是honor一词概念辨析，在法原中honor还只是指对他人力量的简单承认，在利维坦中便出现了高频的“help”——尊敬是为了寻求帮助，honor背后是超善恶的power。help的出现作为利维坦形象逐渐饱满丰富的细节之一，不仅加深了自然状态下对于暴死的恐惧与自保的紧迫性和正当性的印象，而且强调了association与power，从而试图解决蘑菇人摆脱孤独状态走向契约的霍布斯难题。
