A bizarre and sad love story in verse....沉迷Anne Carson，為什麼她的作品都沒有中文版，以我蹩腳的英語水平一定錯過瞭很多細節和隱喻，好想有譯文來對照一下，待重讀。

前半段更為脆弱和封閉，越往後越展開，或許這有一部分攝影的幫助，我猜。同性愛情隻是一部分，Geryon能感受在非人的物質上摺射齣的純粹的美和活性，遙遠的星光實際早已熄滅，地底下滾動的岩漿是生命的來源。“Gaiety transfiguring all that dread”大量細節關於人類感知，詩歌加強它，最後爐火也能映齣永生。讀起來令人打顫，並不沮喪但讓心裏溢滿淚水又不會哭齣來。脆弱又強大的紅龍，想擁抱他。

也許Anne Carson的作品都帶有斷片的本質，詩性的斷片。這是一位圖書管理員嚮我推薦的，他至愛的書之一。我想像他就是個Geryon.
