Benedict's World War IIera study paints an illuminating contrast between the culture of Japan and that of the United States. The Chrysanthemum and the Sword is a revealing look at how and why our cultures differ, making it the perfect introduction to Japanese history and customs.

Written by a literature author. The structure and lexicon of these sentences are kind of hard to understand. But after you read through it, you will have a great lift on the ability to analyze the complex sentences. Concerning to the book itself, it talks about how Japanese grow into such an exotic conduct of life and strange behaviors.
