弗裏德裏希·尼采（Friedrich Nietzsche, 1844-1900），19世紀德國哲學傢，唯意誌論和生命哲學主要代錶之一，被認為是世界最偉大的思想傢之一。

早年在波恩大學和萊比锡大學學習，獲博士學位。不到25歲就被聘為瑞士巴塞爾大學的古典語文學副教授，並在一年以後成為正教授。一生著述頗豐，如《悲劇的誕生》、《查拉圖斯特拉如是說》、《善惡的彼岸》、《強力意誌》等，對20世紀的思想界産生重大影響。1889年初，在意大利的都靈街頭摔倒，就此精神錯亂，於11年後在德國的魏瑪去世。

取自最近在看的《人性的、太人性的》：每每隽秀短文，总会让我产生醍醐灌顶的冲动。括号前为所在章节。尼采的大部分文章都采用的是格言体，是以一种片面的、主观的类似于演讲的思想启发为主；因此内容与用词不免偏激。只需欣赏他对于社会、道德、人的揭露即可，不必过于深究。...

我看的是魏育青和其他两位译者译的版本，感觉译笔非常老到，读起来很舒服。像魏先生这么优秀的德语文学译者，为什么译作这么少呢？网上查到的他的著作，大部分是有关德语教学的。可惜啊，一个优秀的翻译家却不得不忙于教学，使得功在千秋的翻译反倒成了业余的打工了。
