先简单地发一下牢骚。为什么克莱因不介绍中国的数学史呢？虽然作者说这是因为中国的数学发展对西方主流数学的发展没有影响。可是作者连印度数学都介绍了啊！印度数学除了阿拉伯数字以外对西方数学还有什么贡献啊？ 还有作者很是瞧不起阿拉伯人，认为他们在数学史上没有做出什么...

遥想当年入大学前便想学好数学一雪前耻，无奈大一入学后半个学期还不能很好的找到学习的方向，还好我一直都有泡图书馆的习惯，让我找到了这套十分经典的数学思想史书。这套书一直被我霸占了整整一学期，直到后来千辛万苦收集全了一套才将其放归了，一生的珍藏啊~~~~~ 注：鄙...

在这本书之前我也没看过别的数学史书，所以也不好比较其他书来评价。不过总的说来，作者把西方数学史写得脉络清晰，也非常吸引人。整套书的中文版被出版社分成4册，其中只有第一册和第二册的微积分部分算是科普级别的，从微分方程开始，想把书读透彻就多少需要高等数学的知识了...
