在这本书之前我也没看过别的数学史书，所以也不好比较其他书来评价。不过总的说来，作者把西方数学史写得脉络清晰，也非常吸引人。整套书的中文版被出版社分成4册，其中只有第一册和第二册的微积分部分算是科普级别的，从微分方程开始，想把书读透彻就多少需要高等数学的知识了...
