作者文笔极好，阅读感舒适，几乎是一口气读完，全书一半讲Media Burglary ，一半讲Hoover统治下FBI对美国国内异见人士，包括参加民权运动，反战运动，妇女运动，同性恋权益运动和环保运动人士的压迫和迫害，某些手段令人发指。在这种恐怖的氛围和大环境下，更加佩服这些Burglary的勇气，还有Comden28的案件，简直可以拍成电影！这些勇敢者致敬！

这本书十分好读，词句难度都不大，很适合语言学习者。而且没有背景负担，书里对背景的介绍可以说令人发指了（有的时候能把人看自闭）。整体上相当于一个事无巨细的专题报道，从背景到行动到影响，生怕几十年后的我们理解不了这件事的意义，当然了这是好事儿。只是什么事儿都怕自比，从书里出来的时候难免要感时伤势，自知没有那样的勇气，于是含羞带愧的来打五星。

看了一半弃了。事无巨细的描写实在是太啰嗦了。
