基本上没有超过他在书中提到的David Deutsch的the fabric of reality中的思想。他反对Deutsch的multiverse model，我特意查了查他和Deutsch的辩论，感觉还是Deutsch的更令人信服。Lloyd只是argue on semantics. 不过最后一章关于the future的讨论还是挺有趣的，未来的生物需要变得expand to grab more energy, since the energy density is lower and lower。最后他还提到了quantum computation as a path to quantum gravity虽然我不是很懂这一块，本书讲解的很突兀。
