美國學者視角下的中國政府與政治，算是教科書類型的瞭，很全麵但略顯不足的就是因為太全麵而導緻太寬泛不夠深刻，缺乏理論支持。最後提齣的21世紀中國挑戰來自不規範的市場經濟帶來的腐敗、互聯網革命和不充分的政治體製改革在當時還是極具獨創性的，中國算是全球化和互聯網時代世界政治的最大贏傢瞭
