女权主义哲学先驱，很多观念现在都不过时，难以想象是120年前的作品。都很好，唯一的缺陷是没有回答一个问题：生理差异在女权主义运动中到底发挥怎样作用？当有人以“有子宫就是为了生育”、“女人本来就比男人力气小”这类理由质疑女权主义时Mill会如何作答呢？对于女性选择权利的问题没有说到最根本……不过也情有可原毕竟年代久远。
评分since woman can't own property and their husband can use them for their sexual desires they are even worse than slaves.slavery-marriage is the only remaining example of slavery. 喵喵喵？？？ subjection of woman can't be explained with nature of woman.不得不说看起来密尔还真是个女权主义者，不对，更准确的说，密尔就是个最纯粹的自由主义者，强调个体的自由。女性也是个体哈。写出这本书，应该受了Harriett Taylor很大的影响。
