这个爱情故事也太甜了，居然是冯内古特的小说，和其它黑色幽默作品的风格有些“格格不入”。结尾反转大赞：Newt did stop. He did turn. He did call. “Catharine,” he called. She ran to him, put her arms aroud him, could not speak. 这句绝了：”One foot in front of the other,” said Newt, “through leaves, over bridges“ 就像标题请男女主long walk to forever呀！

很简单的故事，但挺有浪漫气息的，因为有爱，所以最后才会在一起，这一对还是很幸运的。 just one foot in front of the other，through leaves,over bridges.人生的路上，若有人陪着，该是多么美好，幸运。
