评分读起来很有趣，觉得好高大上，各种不会拼也不会念的来自希腊的修辞种类，读完大概没记住几个，不过日后看其他文学作品的时候会更多注意一下修辞与语义的区分。

评分條理清晰和流暢感讓這本書就算有很多看不懂的詞也不會讓人覺得吃力。介紹了很多種英文的修辭手法，從中世紀文學到現代搖滾的歌詞里找出相似之處來解釋每種手法的用法和效果，很推薦對linguistic有興趣的讀者。
评分文盲表示原来写作还有这么多花样啊... 每种都举了几百年前到现在的例子.
