Another “misery porn”? Darky的死那段簡直太太慘瞭。文字美到仿佛有點自我沉溺。開頭段落哥哥的段落和戰後的呼應令人心碎。很喜歡戰後日本人的心路曆程描寫。那段愛情不太喜歡，略cheesy.

修鐵路那段尤佳，那段偷情有必有麼？戰後的描寫顯得雄心勃勃，然而並沒有寫齣什麼深度來

語言真的太優美，帶一點意識流，就好像能用第一視角看到情節的發生 // 叢林那一段隻寫瞭一天的情節，但真的太壓抑，甚至要感激作者沒有寫下去 // 作者對戰爭沒有太多基於善惡的批判，每一個人都將長久地經曆人性的掙紮，直至生命最後一刻 // Darky的身世反轉手法在前兩年的布剋奬裏也有用到過 // 最後一小節突然從現代閃迴到叢林裏的那天晚上，一整天的生死存亡終於結束瞭，靜靜地坐下來讀她的信，讀上去鼻子發酸。
