Rooney把Therese演得太好了太好了！！第一次看的时候总觉得电影更美一些，第二次看才真切地体会到原著里Carol和Therese的感情。最爱Waterloo那段”She squeezed her shoulders hard, as if she were exacting a promise from her, or perhaps searching her to see if what she had said were real. Then she kissed Therese on the lips, as they had kissed a thousand times before.’Don't you know I love you?’Carol said. “

最吸引我的可能是两个人的蜕变了。彼此不知道自己将要成为什么样的女人。这对于任何人来说，无论男女应该都是一个永恒的课题。但成长对于女人来说是课题，对男人来说是吗？「我居然想不到一对gay来验证我的想法」两个人相爱让彼此变得更好。然后看完的瞬间就去买了一个之前就想要的包。烟酒香水化妆品加礼帽丝巾手套高跟鞋＝一个致命女人＝盐本盐。小说后面的结局我不喜欢，Carol本人比电影里演的还要冷静有魅力。但是电影真的改编到值得五星。

一开始觉得两人的恋爱中扮演太多母女的角色了以致有些不适。但后来想想人只要能和自己和解就好。欣慰地看到最终两人的power dynamic趋于平衡，Therese终于不再把carol当做完美的神崇敬，而是一个有血有肉的平常人来爱了。

3.5星。还算是值得一读吧，比同名电影在人物和情节线索上都丰富一些。然而遗憾是同样的，一个本可以更精彩更深入的女性故事，被写成了跟今天的少女们幻想被霸道总裁和高富帅爱上差不多的通俗小说，并且几乎没跟时代背景发生什么关系。语言的确不错，但一些精彩的描写被叙事上的啰嗦给淹没了。没读过作者的其他作品，不过仅就这一本来讲，我想说通俗作家就是通俗作家。

看小说时总是免不了想这是本好小说还是本糟糕的。不过，一本书看的我坐地铁坐过站两次，我还要说差的话也太矫情了。但看salt的时候，又总是想起粤剧里那些才子佳人大团圆结局的戏，不管原著里霍小玉是不是吐血而亡，李慧娘是不是魂飞魄散，反正上了舞台都会有编剧贴心的大团圆...
