可能是阅读期待高了点吧。英语文笔佳。感觉没太多新鲜内容。但想一下作为非虚构作品这个题目其实很难写(毕竟是记者，又不像just one child作者那样有特别渠道，只靠外部信息和官方资料的话你懂的)，7.1分也太低了(个人认为至少值8分左右)，改成四星鼓励吧。

典型的西方记者作品：事实丰富但分析浅显；故事性和可读性强但专业性欠缺；抒情多过说理和论证，修辞多过数据和逻辑；价值观是西方那套，不深刻也无新意。选题迎合西方中产阶级对苦难中国的想象。有“禁书”光环加持也很难说是出彩的社会学作品，只能说是有助于吃瓜西方群众了解中国现状的通俗读物。
