评分这是一部慢慢叙述的小说。主人公的四个人生同时进行。四个人生里，有的人同时出现，他始终是独身子，始终和同一个女生有着恋爱。从婴幼儿到儿童，到青年，到成人，似乎一个很小的事情就会引起完全不同的人生。这次“阅读”可真是感到了语言的冲击力。非常感谢作者36个小时的阅读，否则不能想象自己阅读这本长达880页的书。最爱成长小说，在被人的故事里看到自己的影子，有的时候只是一个片断。

评分这本书我从冬天读到夏天，终于在夏天结束之前读完，释然了。好多年没有读到这种可以成为materpiece的当代作品，而且还是在这种anti-imigrants年代。
评分英文有声书。DNF。听了个开头，太琐碎。再想想这书的厚度，还是去看了剧透。
