雪兒·海蒂（Shere Hite）是美國著名的性學專傢。她生於1942年，美國佛羅裏達大學曆史學士及美國史學士，專攻社會科學與法學，曾在哥倫比亞大學攻讀西方思想史博士，後因覺得自己所做的研究計劃不被教授重視，念瞭兩學期後即輟學。
