4.5. 超越我的期待值，尽管我知道这是本广受欢迎的好书，但对于我这个并不常看fantasy类别读者，且因为小时候读希腊神话故事总有something is lost的感受的人来说，这是本让我开始对retelling这一个小类别的书籍重建信心和兴趣的开始。Circe这本书最突出的是作者掌握了一种很自然的平衡状态，在希腊神话故事里出名人物和场景作为整体环境中，娓娓道来主人公的故事，展现的是她的经历和成长。在作者笔下，感觉那些希腊神话中曾作为陪衬和被遗忘的女神是如此栩栩如生，Circe正是如此。她这个角色是如此动态，如此“人”性：她对自己身份的认知和自我怀疑，叛逆，脆弱与顽强，错误与惩罚。我们需要更多的这样从女性视觉看历史，看神话，看过去的retelling.

再次感激书友的推荐，非常好看，这本书每天陪着我，像一个闺蜜，读完还有点怅然若失。女神如此动人...之前超喜欢Atwood的penelopiad，这两个故事走不同路线，都很好看。Atwood写作更厉害，这个故事读完就爱上了这个女神。最后大赞audible，超磁性声音

说是希腊神话其实就是富家女觉得亲戚朋友都空虚无聊就自己叛逆有想法占尽了阶层的便宜之后自以为得到自由的空虚无聊故事。以高中生的视野中年妇女的语气把神话复述成网文的书怎么总会大获好评？时间线都是错的。讲播特别假深沉，可读成瑟曦，杰森，阿贾克斯实在太土了。
