前麵都在講為啥信瞭中國，還有他的中國忽悠局的存在陰謀論，最後一章講美國該如何應對中國的崛起。
评分雖然說有很強的鷹派主義色彩，但不失為理解外國人怎樣看待我們耳濡目染的中國文化的好書。

评分作者精通中文，奈何本書無論是觀點還是論證都鬆散粗疏，像西方二流小報摘錄，並無可觀之處。可見有些青蛙無論走到哪裏都帶著自己的井。
评分可以在一定程度上代錶目前西方世界主流是怎麼看中國的，這是propaganda的力量。白邦瑞作為一個美國人，能研究/理解中國到這個程度已然讓人驚訝瞭。但意識形態的差異，不是隔一道牆那麼簡單，而是韆韆萬萬的峰巒與溝壑。整本書看下來，作者還是沒能悟明白“在戰略上要藐視敵人，在戰術上要重視敵人”這句話。
