约翰‧杰维德‧伦德维斯特，瑞典人，生于1968年，成长于斯德哥尔摩郊区小镇布雷奇堡，从小梦想能闯出一番名堂。他曾是魔术师，还在北欧魔术牌技比赛中赢得第二名。之后成为喜剧脱口秀表演者长达十二年。后来转战进入剧作圈，写出了脍炙人口的电视剧本《Reuter & Skoog》，并拥有多部舞台剧作。《血色童话》是他第一部小说。
