20150614-20150715。16.2小时。虽然小说有二战时期华裔生活背景，但本书更多是描写家庭间的琐事，较沉闷。最后一篇中日青年恋爱倒蛮好看的。
评分Wayson Choy还去我们学校给演讲了，没排队跟他要签名。虽然小说情结挺无聊的，但至少让我了解了CBC们都是banana的本质。。
评分高三时ENG4U的必学课本，当时因为自己的广东人身份，在学这本小说时捡了许多便宜，很多地方都很好理解。真是一个悲剧故事。
