有些意犹未尽，chapter8-10还蛮值得有空再读。最后Moore的commentary很有帮助。

这本书的逻辑推理非常棒！！在膜的同时我只能说威廉斯的方式非常英国，他的道德哲学虽“无道德”但是有情感和智性。（还得重读٩͡[๏̯͡๏]۶

去年第一次读了三章扔下弃疗，再次读卡在了七八两章，缺少语言哲学和知识论背景读起来非常吃力，无法跟上Williams的论证节奏。其它内容（“大概”能看懂的）很精彩。最可贵的是Williams从没有试图简化问题，或是用所谓的理论强奸生活，而是呈现出道德思虑的多种可能，自己传统模型的困境和结构的局限。

B.威廉姆斯（1929-2003），二十世纪英国著名哲学家。曾先后任教于剑桥大学哲学系和美国加州大学伯克利分校。他以其在伦理学、古典学、知识论以及对于哲学一般问题的系统反思而著名。代表作有《个人问题》《道德运气》《伦理学与哲学的限度》《羞耻与必然性》《真与真实》《泰初有为》等。

陈嘉映，首都师范大学教授，长期从事哲学研究与翻译工作。他从十年前就可以带领学生阅读和翻译本书，以及威廉斯的其他著作。
