J R Gonzalez writes about nightmares we all have, things that go bump in the night that just donat seem to go away. Ever wonder how much pain the human heart can stand and keep purity and innocence? This is that kind of tale, about a man that falls in love with a woman who breaks his heart and stomps all over it and then leaves, yet they canat seem to stay away from each other, and somehow find their way back. At the same time, someone is torching people all around them. The police canat seem to find this mysterious killer, first explaining it as spontaneous combustion, as if that might explain the burnt corpses they find scattered about the city. He knows better, that somehow they are tied to the woman he loves, and he decides to save her, fight for her and the love they once had.
