Edmund Lindop taught history at University High School in Los Angeles and trained teachers for the University of California. Stressing the dramatic pageantry and colorful personalities of the past, he was widely acclaimed as a teacher and a writer who made history come alive. He published more than 38 books on history and political science with more than one million copies in print. Edmund Lindop passed away in 2009.
