非常不错的一个集子，涵盖了几乎所有的电影话题，其中Bordwell和他门下及同门的那溜学者的文章都一贯的非常精彩。唯一的不足是，整一个的世界观还有点停留在笛卡尔的二元论...（有几章例外，Sobchack的是当然的了）

这是一本主要讲电影与哲学理论的论文集，主要集中了许多知名电影理论家和电影学者的批评文章。书中有很多哲学名词很难懂，想要看懂此书不仅要英语过关，而且需要扎实的电影理论基础，一些常见电影理论家的基本观点，和一些哲学学科名词。否则草草理解，很容易出现误读。对于电影初学者和爱好者不建议读这本，本书适合做电影研究的人士阅读。
