評分1 这样的书一旦没写好，就感觉为中国绘画配上很糟糕的配文。翻译确实足够烂，很多字句不知所云。但是作者文以诚，又何尝抓到了中国肖像画的三昧呢，在第50页以前都是浪费文字而已。 而且将肖像画与人物画，混淆在一起进行论述，对绘画的目的和面貌写真的技法，都都没有进行有益...

评分research需要讀瞭第一章，將中國肖像畫放在中國的文化中去研究，還是很有啓發的，以後的一些關於肖像畫的研究似乎是建立在這本書的基礎上的。
