通俗读物，离学术书相差距离太远，大量证据未经确实。就算是自由学派，也不能夸自由市场的时候就大赞个人能力，谈到工作机会问题的时候又改称个人成暴徒。
评分此书作者的能力配不上这么重要的题目。
评分非常糟心的学术水平，对国家资本主义的定义限于政府主导经济体系并运用市场来达到政治目的；四大特质分别是垄断石油天然气等能源行业，大型国有企业、相关利益团体，及国家主权基金；沙特、阿联酋、埃及、埃尔及利亚、乌克兰、巴俄印中非（BRICS)、墨西哥、东南亚诸国纷纷被归类其中，泛泛而谈。一方面固然忌惮国家资本主义（毕竟是冷战时期的敌家）挑战自由市场，拉低经济效率、保护本土市场，危险扶持发展中国家；一方面声称此类政府容易无脑出错，内政重于外政（无力做政治宣传），为最大化利益愿意开放市场；不能更加自相矛盾。于是结论就成了要以更彻底的开放、自由、创新抗衡制度，软弱无力. 评分题目选的很好，但内容太过浅显了，完全Intro的水平，仿佛一本我也能写出来的书一样。作者文笔很流畅，任何事情系统化看也是好的，但对经济和经历史有些了解的人看此书还是养分不多
