Finally, I finished this book in this country, which at least for me, is closer to Utopia. Utopia is not a perfect world, but an ideal world. A contrast to our society, especially for human nature. People there seems to live a happy life, but somehow I just feel it's lifeless, where everyone is almost the same. Fragile, isn't it?

More在Utopia裏探討的從不是怎樣建立政治意義上的社會模型，而是在從宗教和道德的意義上“圓滿”的狀態。作者自己也明白這是“理想化的”，給的從來都不是確定的答案（在末尾處和letters裏都有提到）。因此，Utopia和空想主義、共産主義完全是不能等同的。聯係More的時代背景和其虔誠一生最後被亨利八世砍頭的經曆，讀這本書的時候總是不自覺地對作者産生敬意。
