简直丧心病狂的好，脉络清晰，文笔简单流畅，强烈推荐作为the marx-engels reader的辅助教材。

每个“哲人”的Marx都不一样. Singer的马克思是哲人王(a la Popper)，Wolff的Marx则是哲人... 马克思的经济理论部分（古典经济学家的集大成者之一）重要之处在于点出资本主义模式下的生产分工是不均的，但剩余价值理论却不能解释不均的分配 (经济思想史可参考Blaug或Groenewegen的思想史书籍）。

拖了两周才读完这本小书。作者删繁就简又有观点地回顾了马克思的理论，真的非常清晰好读。

可能是最简单的马克思入门书，两小时就可以看完整本。但是，我觉得思路清晰，简单明了，让人一下子就对马老爷爷有好感啊。

乔纳森·沃尔夫 (Jonathan Wolff) 伦敦大学学院哲学教授。他的著作还有《政治哲学导论》(牛津大学出版社出版)和《罗伯特·诺锡克：财产、正义和最小国家》(政体出版社出版)。他还与他人合编了“牛津读本系列丛书”中的《政治思想》。
