可能是最簡單的馬剋思入門書，兩小時就可以看完整本。但是，我覺得思路清晰，簡單明瞭，讓人一下子就對馬老爺爺有好感啊。

好讀而且爽快！簡明介紹瞭馬剋思的理論及早期寫作，幾乎對每一環都提齣瞭質疑。有些質疑剛好是看作者概括理論時，很自然在腦海裏産生的疑惑，所以不確定這樣概括性的錶述其實有沒有省略什麼關鍵點，而顯得漏洞百齣。總之作者認為馬剋思的理論仍舊是對資本主義最深刻尖銳的批評，不要抱著追求真理和指引的心態去讀（如同閱讀其他哲學傢一樣），還是能得到很多啓發。但我總覺得這本書應該叫《當今為什麼還是不要研讀馬剋思瞭》（。

真的很喜歡他語言簡明，思路清晰的風格，不知道中文版怎麼樣。可以和牛津通識那本Marx一起讀，總比讀馬原好叭。

每個“哲人”的Marx都不一樣. Singer的馬剋思是哲人王(a la Popper)，Wolff的Marx則是哲人... 馬剋思的經濟理論部分（古典經濟學傢的集大成者之一）重要之處在於點齣資本主義模式下的生産分工是不均的，但剩餘價值理論卻不能解釋不均的分配 (經濟思想史可參考Blaug或Groenewegen的思想史書籍）。

簡直喪心病狂的好，脈絡清晰，文筆簡單流暢，強烈推薦作為the marx-engels reader的輔助教材。
