可以和词与物补充阅读，一是清楚明晰地界定和阐释了词与物中的一些术语和方法论，二是虽然知识考古学只讲理，例子不多有些枯燥，但读过词与物中关于语言，经济和生物三个领域中知识型嬗变之后脑内就已经积累了大量事例，再读知识考古学会觉得越读越清晰。

其实福柯在具体表达的时候，这个英文版的在句式排比，节奏，以及举例上都很好。要比中文版好读的太多了。
