这书写得很有趣，尤其典故方面的穿插增加了可读性，不过毕竟是词汇书，按部就班的定规矩来读会很难，唯有像翻阅杂文一样没事翻上几页才有乐趣吧：）

扩充词汇量必备！！红宝背到心碎的时候开始过这本书，40天过完。词汇难度在T和G之间吧。重点在于如同教科书一般到位的讲解以及精辟的例句！

要做的笔记非常多，尤其是希腊语、拉丁语和神话典故中衍生出的词汇。讲解的内容非常到位，只是各个单元对词汇的解读风格有微妙的差别，时而关注包括电影、音乐在内的娱乐话题，时而又跳转到政治与历史；不背单词看这本书也会有很多收益。
