收錄以三捲劃分的經典漫畫，附錄創作故事及兩篇雜誌短篇及草稿，內容非常豐富完整。比起改編電影，原作漫畫對反派的刻畫更加細緻，故事穿插各種引述，導緻初看時感覺有點混亂，人物對話非常多，看起來也挺費勁，一些分鏡頗為新穎。在麵具下不僅有肉體，還有思想，而思想是無法被殺死的。

Alan Oswald Moore (born 18 November 1953) is an English writer primarily known for his work in comic books, a medium where he has produced a number of critically acclaimed and popular series, including Watchmen, V for Vendetta, and From Hell. Frequently described as the best graphic novel writer in history,(p10)(p7) he has also been described as "one of the most important British writers of the last fifty years". He has occasionally used such pseudonyms as Curt Vile, Jill de Ray, and Translucia Baboon.
