故事不错作者的文笔一般

作为小说觉得欠点简洁和力量。但是把握了历史很难得。写得挺认真，也让俺记住了很多..

感恩节假期晚上看完仿佛自己和故事一样老了一百年。叙事结构精妙，虽然有的时候时间流逝有点仓促，但是的确用人的故事跨越了一百年三地…Arjun的死别，Dinu &Alison的生离，回印度的充满泥泞的路，和永远的Rangoon…感觉自己缓不过来了。

这书前半部分给我感觉也就一般，小恋爱小纠结。但是后半部分历史的宏大感就出来了，有种时代洪流下身不由己的感觉。印度殖民时期，二战，缅甸军政府（最后连昂山素季都出现了这不科学）好吧对于history romance这种题材我果然只看history不看romance……
