四星半。精妙的书籍设计，大量比较准确的地图、appendix的常识介绍都十分适合初学者。Crawley的译文自由度过大准确度也比较一般［当然修昔底德的希腊文实在是太难-_-#不是每个人都和Hornblower那样强迫症］，常识介绍也实在有点太“常识”了，适合非历史非Classics专业学生。
评分终于读完这个版本。译文读起来有些费劲，保留了大量的分词结构。地图是真的非常好用...
评分真业界良心。要是有一个这样的史记或左传读本就好了！
